Welcome Home
Siphe-Lwande Guest House is located in Maclear along the R396 at 17 Ahrbeck Street, a quiet location. The street is calm and peaceful, offering guests a serene atmosphere while still being close to the main town. Secure parking is available inside locked gates with CCTV surveillance for added safety and peace of mind during your stay.
Siphe-Lwande Guest House began in 2010 after a local hotel closed, starting with two rooms and growing steadily. Now offering eleven rooms, a dining hall & reception, we ensure comfort, security and easy access to nearby dining.
About Us
Siphe-Lwande Guest House is located on the foothills of the Drakensburg Mountains in the Joe Gqabi Region within the Elundini Local Municipality of the Eastern Cape. Elundini Local Municipality comprises of the towns of Ugie, Maclear & Mount Fletcher. The area is largely an agricultural area with natural scenery: popular with rich fossils, dinosaur footprints and rock art.
Our three star rated accommodation offers dinner & lunch for guests. We host conferences, training workshops by local people, organizations and government departments. Our conference hall accommodates 70 seated delegates.
